Traurige Nachrichten für Fans der Band CROSSFAITH: Wie die Band am 30.01.2024 auf ihrer offiziellen Website verkündet haben, wird HIRO die Band verlassen. CROSSFAITH versprechen aber weiter an der Japan-Tour zu arbeiten und auch in naher Zukunft an neuer Musik arbeiten zu wollen.
Crossfaith has decided to part ways with Hiroki Ikegawa.
We want to thank him for journey he took with us and
wish him luck with everything in the future.
In the meantime, we continue to work on current Japan tour
as well as new music.

Nachdem HIRO bereits im letzten Jahr für eine erweiterte Auszeit nicht an den Aktivitäten der Band teilnahm, verabschiedet man sich nun dieses Mal komplett. Auch Hiroki Ikegawa selbst hat sich die Zeit genommen und ein paar Worte an die Fans gerichtet. In seinem Statement bedankt er sich für die insgesamt 16 Jahre, die er mit Crossfaith verbrachte und natürlich den Support der Fans:
Hello, It’s been a while. I’ve been doing good, and It’s snowing outside here now.
I’m sitting, writing this and remembering all the paths we went through.
Every gig was its own odyssey. Every gig has its own story.
I tried to express what I’m feeling and thinking now with so many words.
But after all, all I want to say was thank you for being with us and I had a good time
like I used to say after the show.
My and their odyssey, called one’s life, are still going on as long as we live.

my old friend mentioned this all the time so i leave this quote here.
I’ve been still feeling well and surrounded by my Smiles. And I’m ready to discover what the
future has in store for us and me. Until then, please know it’s been the joy of a lifetime to
spend the last 16 years with Crossfaith and you.
