Mit einem nach der Band selbst benannten Best Of Album, wird die All Girl Band SCANDAL ihre 10 jährige Geschichte feiern. Ganze 34 Tracks werden am 03. März 2017 auf einer neuen Scheibe – die in Europa unter JPU Records erscheinen wird – zum Abrocken einladen.
Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 2006 ist der Bekanntheitsgrad der 4 Mädels immer weiter gestiegen. Mittlerweile 73 Millionen Aufrufe zählen die Veröffentlichungen auf YouTube mittlerweile – die sieben Alben schafften es allesamt unter die Top 5 in Japans Oricon Charts. Das kürzlich erschienene Yellow Album erreichte mit Platz 2 sogar die beste Platzierung unter den SCANDAL Werken.

This is already one of my favourite SCANDAL albums! Fans voted which songs to include, and then we picked the order. It makes our previous songs sound different. There are also two news songs; FREEDOM FIGHTERS, this is a rock tune that we cannot wait to play on our next overseas tour; and HELLO, which is more of a heart-warming song.
Das Ganze ist eine Zusammenstellung die durch ein Voting durch die Fans zustande gekommen ist. So ist es klar, dass Signature Songs wie Awanaitsumorino Genkidene, Take me out, Shojo S, Harukaze oder EVERYBODY SAY YEAH zu finden sind. Für Bassistin TOMOMI OGAWA ist der Song SCANDAL BABY etwas ganz besonderes:

Wer möchte, bekommt ein besonderes Goodie dazu, denn wie auch schon beim jüngsten Band Maid Release wird es eine T-Shirt Sonderaktionsausgabe des Albums geben. Dafür hat man mit dem populären Harajuku-Klamottenlabel Candy Stripper zusammengearbeitet. Alle durch JPU Records bezogenen Ausgaben werden darüber hinaus ein Poster und ein Booklet mit Übersetzungen der Songtexte beinhalten.
