Wie VAMPS auf ihrerer offiziellen Website bekannt gaben, wird die Band ab diesem Dezember vorerst ihre Aktivitäten einstellen.

Grund für den abrupten Stopp ist laut persönlichen Angaben „überhitzen der Maschinen“ und man brauche Zeit um wieder „abzukühlen“.
Ob dies bedeutet, dass nächstes Jahr etwas besonderes von L’arc en Ciel zu erwarten ist, da Hyde sich nun theoretisch voll und ganz auf die Band konzentrieren kann, bleibt abzuwarten. Sicher ist jedoch, dass es rasant weitergeht, wenn VAMPS die Chance hatten etwas abzukühlen.
